This woman’s place is in the House…
The State House of Representatives!
Thank you all for your support in voting me the Republican nominee for State Representative of District 22. With the primary behind me I look forward to working equally as hard until the November election.
As you may know my campaign’s main focus is on job creation, our educational system and strengthening our small communities, but I would like to take a moment and note my stance on several issues that have been raised:
My position on abortion: I am prolife. As a practicing Catholic I live by the principals of the Church. Having two adopted children, I thank God for having his hand on their birthmother's hearts when they made their decision to give our children life. We can never thank them enough for the family they gave us.
Marriage: Again, as a practicing Catholic, I believe marriage can only exist between one man and one woman as are the principals of the Catholic Church.
Second Amendment: I have always supported our Constitutionally-provided second amendment rights, but quite honestly I had never given much thought to joining the NRA. I have asked my son-in-law to help me with the application process to become a member of the National Rifle Association as a sign of respect and open support.
Government Spending: I am a fiscal conservative. We have got to put a stop to spending money we don't have. As we do in our personal lives, we stop spending when the money is gone. Government needs to do the same.
Please do not hesitate to email me anytime you have questions. I would rather you contact me directly for my position on issues and not rely on hearsay.
Thank you again for all your support!
